Good Morning Eagles,
Just a reminder that testing of the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) continues this week on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday for all GHS 11th graders , but also for all GHS 10th graders this Tuesday. Testing takes place from 8:00 am to 10:30 am.
For students not taking the CAASPP, you should arrive to school by 10:15 am with classes to begin at 10:30 am.
We would like to congratulate the GHS Speech and Debate team who finish 2nd in this weekend’s State Tournament! This is the highest placing in school history! Great accomplishment, Screamin’ Eagles!

- Monday, April 20: Testing for all GHS Juniors from 8:00 am to 10:30 am. All other students will begin school at 10:30 am (1st, 2nd and 3rd periods).
- Tuesday, April 21: Testing for all GHS Juniors and Sophomores from 8:00 am to 10:30 am. All other students will begin school at 10:30 am (4th, 5th and 6th periods).
- Tuesday, April 21: GHS Boys Volleyball v. San Gabriel Academy, Large Gym. Varsity plays at 3:30 pm, JV team plays at 5:00 pm.
- Tuesday, April 21: Dog Haus Fundraiser for GHS PTSA (every Tuesday): See flyer for more information.
- Wednesday, April 22: Regular School Schedule.
- Wednesday, April 22: GHS Softball v. Rosemead, 3:15 pm, JV team plays at home.
- Wednesday, April 22: GHS Baseball v. Rosemead, 3:15 pm, JV and Freshmen teams play at home.
- Wednesday, April 22: GHS Parent Seminar, “How to Get Into College and What Happens Next?” Goodson Theatre, 6:30 pm. Please note that Spanish and Mandarin simultaneous translations will be available at the Seminar courtesy of the GHS PTSA.
- Thursday, April 23: Testing for all GHS Juniors from 8:00 am to 10:30 am. All other students will begin school at 10:30 am (1st, 2nd and 3rd periods).
- Thursday, April 23: GHS Softball v. Rosemead, 3:15 pm, JV team plays at home.
- Friday, April 24: Regular School Schedule.

- Wednesday, April 29: Late Start Day, all students must be at school by 9:30 am.
- Friday, May 1: GHS Progress Reports to be mailed home.
