This week we begin testing of the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP). The tests will be given primarily to 11th graders and begins this Thursday, April 16. Testing takes place from 8:00 am to 10:30 am.
For students not taking the CAASPP, you should arrive to school by 10:15 am with classes to begin at 10:30 am. Please refer to the email regarding the “CAASPP Testing Schedule” that was sent separately for further information.

- Tuesday, April 14: GHS Swim v. Bell Gardens, 3:15 pm at Smith Park.
- Tuesday, April 14: GHS Boys Volleyball v. Temple City, Large Gym. Varsity plays at 3:15 pm, JV team plays at 4:45 pm.
- Tuesday, April 14: Dog Haus Fundraiser for GHS PTSA (every Tuesday): See flyer for more information.
- Wednesday, April 15: GHS School Site Council Meeting, 6:00 pm, Principal’s Conference Room.
- Wednesday, April 15: Special Needs Parent Support Meeting, 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm, 6009 N. Willard Ave., San Gabriel 91775 (home of Vivianna Welflin).
- Thursday, April 16: GHS CAA SPP Testing Day. Testing for all GHS Juniors from 8:00 am to 10:30 am. All other students will begin school at 10:30 am (4th, 5th and 6th periods).
- Thursday, April 16: GHS Golf v. Azusa, 2: 30 pm at Alhambra Golf Course.
- Thursday, April 16: GHS Swim v. Montebello, 3:15 pm at Smith Park.
- Thursday, April 16: GHS Track & Field v. Arroyo, 3:15 pm.
- Friday, April 17: Regular School Schedule.

- Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, April 20, 21 and 23: CAASPP Testing for all Juniors, 8:00 am to 10:30 am.

- Wednesday, April 22: GHS Parent Seminar, “How to Get Into College and What Happens Next?” Goodson Theatre, 6:30 pm.
