We hope that you had a nice President’s Day holiday. There is still a lot going on as we head into that last weeks of February.
Please save the date for the upcoming GHS PTSA Teen Safe Driving Parent Workshop to be held next Monday, February 23rd from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Goodson Theatre. It’s a must if you have a teenager ready to learn to drive or one who is new to driving. You’ll learn practical strategies to ensure that your teen becomes a safe driver.
Congratulations to Christian Leung on being named a National Merit Scholarship Finalist. To become a finalist, a student’s PSAT/NMSQT score must meet or exceed the index score assigned to their state of residence for the testing year. Christian is one of the finalists selected from a pool of 15,000 semi-finalists. Way to go Christian!

- Wednesday, Feb. 18: GHS Parent Seminar regarding “Teen Mental Health,” 6:30 pm, Goodson Theatre.
- Saturday, Feb. 21: GHS Swim competition at Smith Park, 2:30 pm.
