Congratulations to 9th grader Ida Li for being the winner of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, Christopher Columbus Essay Contest for the local San Marino chapter. Ida’s essay now moves on to the state American History chair for the State competition. If her essay wins there, it will go on to the national competition. Great job and good luck, Ida!

- Tuesday, Dec. 9: GHS Girls Basketball v. Monrovia, JV at 3:15 pm and Varsity at 4:45 pm.
- Tuesday, Dec. 9: Dog Haus Fundraiser for GHS PTSA (every Tuesday): See flyer for more information.
- Wednesday, Dec. 10: GHS Band/Orchestra Winter Concert, 6:00 pm, Goodson Theatre.
- Thursday, Dec. 11: GHS Boys Soccer v. Montebello at 3:15 pm, JV and Varsity teams play.
- Thursday, Dec. 11: Shakey’s Fundraiser for GHS Girls Soccer Team, 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm, 866 E. Las Tunas Dr., San Gabriel. Purchase any full price food items and deposit the original receipt in the “GHS Girls Soccer Receipts” box. 25% of proceeds will go to the team.
- Friday, Dec. 12: GHS Varsity Wrestling Tournament, 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
- Saturday, Dec. 13: GHS Varsity Wrestling Tournament, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
