Congratulations Eagles! The Boys Cross Country team and Girls Volleyball team both won their Mission Valley League titles! For Volleyball, it’s their 13th League title! Also, the Gabrielino Eagles Marching Regiment swept its season by taking first place in all of its field competitions, including 1st place finishes in band, percussion and color guard in this past Saturday’s Oxnard Field Tournament. Way to go Eagles!

- Wednesday, Nov. 12: The Tongva Times would like to publish your Thanksgiving recipes. Please fill out and submit a form in the folder outside of Room B1414.
- Wednesday, Nov. 12: GHS School Site Council Meeting, 6:00 pm, Principal’s Conference Room.
- Thursday, Nov. 13: GHS hosts a Red Cross Blood Drive from 3:00 to 8:00 pm, Small Gym. All students who signed up for the blood drive need to eat a good breakfast. Reminder that 16 year old students need to bring their parent consent forms in order to donate. Teachers and parents are also welcome to donate. Please see flyer for more information.
- Thursday, Nov. 13: GHS ELAC Meeting, 6:00 pm.
- Thursday, Nov. 13: SEF’s 5th Annual Phone-a-Thon: “Answer the Call” for Gabreilino/Del Mar High Schools, 6:30 to 8:30 pm, District Conference Room at 409 Junipero Serra Drive. Please help the San Gabriel Educational Foundation raise funds to support all SGUSD students.
