The GHS PTSA invites you to join us and Officers from the San Gabriel Police Department Traffic Division on Tuesday, January 17 @ 7 PM for our parent workshop on "Teen Safe Driving."
· Do you have a teenager ready to learn to drive?
· Do you know that 1-in-3 teenagers has an accident in their first year of driving and that teenagers have a 9x greater risk of dying while driving as compared to experienced drivers?
· Would you like to learn practical strategies to ensure that your teen becomes a safer driver?

Place: Goodson Theatre
Simultaneous translations will be available in Spanish and Mandarin
Next Wednesday, 1/25, is our next Parent Seminar on the Advanced Placement (AP) Program. GHS staff will present everything parents and students want and need to know about our AP Classes. 7 PM in the Goodson Theatre! See you there!
Next Friday, 1/27, is Staff Development Day, which means NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS!
Gab Talks is coming up in two weeks! January 30 through February 3 is GAB TALKS!
The Edison Scholarship: Applications are now being accepted through Feb. 1 for Edison International’s $1.2 million Edison Scholars Program, which awards $40,000 scholarships paid over four years to 30 high school seniors planning to major in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) fields at accredited four-year colleges and universities. B.R.A.K.E.S. Classes @ Qualcomm Stadium (2/11-12) or Pomona Fairplex (2/25-26)! Teens who attend a B.R.A.K.E.S. class are 64% LESS LIKELY to be in an accident in their first three years of driving!
