Fri 10/19 – “Nightmare Night” – wear Black for “Black Out” Game Day
Fri 10/19 – End of First Quarter
Fri 10/19 – Homecoming Game! Varsity Football vs. El Monte, 7pm (Eagles Stadium)

HOMECOMING DANCE TICKETS
Homecoming tickets are on sale now thru Friday, October 19th in Room B221 at lunch only. Homecoming Dance tickets are: Gold: $20, W/ASB: $25, W/out ASB: $30, Guests: $30, at the door: $40
Students must turn in this signed DANCE CONTRACT when purchasing tickets.
GHS CHEER CLINIC
Calling all future GHS Eagles! Students in grades K – 8th can participate in the GHS Cheer Clinic. Participants will learn a routine and perform with the GHS Cheerleaders at halftime at the Homecoming Game on 10/19. NATIONAL PTA REFLECTIONS ART CONTEST
This year’s theme is “Heroes Around Me”. Three in each of the following six categories (visual arts, literature, dance, music, photography, and cinematography) will be judged at the GHS unit level and selected as finalists to enter the First District PTA level competition. Entries are due by Oct. 19, 2018. If you are interested, please contact Kim Hua at kimahua73@gmail.com for student info packet and submission instructions.
