CONGRATULATIONS, SENIOR EAGLES! I’m so proud of you!
Message from the President
Dear Fellow Members of the Gabrielino Family,
It is with mixed emotions that I write this note marking the end of the 2015-2016 school year. I am truly humbled and amazed by the achievements, growth and overall humanity of this year’s graduating class.
These Eagles are ready to move on and do great things. Their families should be so proud! Selfishly, I, and the rest of the Board left behind, will sorely miss the contributions, wit and wisdom of the parents who are leaving the orbit of the SGUSD for good with the graduation of their youngest or only children. These include, but are not limited to, the Weaver, Pacheco, Menchaca, DeVito, Lopez, Barnett, Casanova, Schwartz, Quach, Ngo,Wong, Sawkins, Lee, Lok, Chang, Ngo, DaSilva, Husein and Hoffman families. Most of these families have gone above and beyond for many years in helping, contributing to and leading multitudinous PTAs, Site Councils, and SEF boards throughout the District. Thank you from all of us! And it is impossible, quite literally, for me to imagine a PTSA Board without current members Evett Barnett, Teri Lok, Audrey Lee or Tracy Hoffman. Thanks to all of you, and your families, for making the little world of Gabrielino a better place over the years.

IT’S, FINALS WEEK!!! Finals will be administered 8 AM – 12:15 PM, Tuesday through Thursday. Here’s the schedule:
All student athletes need to have new physicals before they can participate in Summer Camp or try outs! The 2015-2106 physicals will not be valid! - Monday, May 30: MEMORIAL DAY! SUMMER OFFICIALLY BEGINS!
- Tuesday, May 31:
- Finals, periods 1 & 4
- Additional Graduation tickets go on sale today at the Main Office for $10 each! Tickets will only be sold to family members (not students).
- Seniors’ Graduation Rehearsal, 10:30 AM – 12 PM at Santa Anita Racetrack, 285 W. Huntington Dr., Arcadia, 91007. THIS IS MANDATORY! All exceptions must be cleared with Mrs. Heinrich BEFORE this day, 5/31!
- Wednesday, June 1: Finals, periods 2 & 5
- Thursday, June 2: Finals, periods 3 & 6
